Does anyone have a dish they remember their momma making while growing up? Our good friend Pete, @workhardgrillhard made and sharing his family's recipe for Chicken Piquante and it looks and sounds absolutely delicious!
"My mom visited us this weekend to meet baby Edie and brought everything needed to make this, even the same pan I remember her putting on our Weber grill.
Recipe and details ⬇️
1. 3-4 chicken breasts
2. 1 x red onion thinly sliced
3. Mix white or rose wine and soy sauce at a 3:1 ratio to half way cover chicken
3. Add ~1 tsp garlic powder, oregano, and ginger adjust to taste
4. Braise in a cover dish at 350-375 degrees raised direct over @rockwoodcharcoal on @biggreenegg for about 1 hour
5. Serve over rice and with roasted veggies of choice
